SEE est une galerie d'art contemporain valorisant les œuvres d'artistes émergents et confirmés, français et internationaux. À travers des pratiques multiples – dessin, peinture, sculpture, installation, photographie ou vidéo – ces artistes explorent la matière et les éléments, redonnant au geste et à la substance une place centrale dans leurs créations. Leurs œuvres invitent à percevoir le monde autrement, à révéler, par le prisme de l’art, le sens caché des choses. La ligne curatoriale reflète la pluridisciplinarité et la variété des thématiques abordées, en résonance avec la société et les enjeux contemporains.
Animée par une équipe aux sensibilités mêlées la galerie conjugue regards et passions pour concevoir des expositions, souvent autour d’un lien narratif et pensées à la croisée des formats traditionnels de la galerie et du musée. Les thématiques développées permettent de mettre en dialogue artistes confirmés et plus émergents afin de proposer une expérience d’exposition à chaque visiteur. Rencontres, débats, performances, édition de gazettes périodiques et livres d’art, permettent à la galerie d’étendre ses activités et de rendre plus largement accessible la création contemporaine.
La genèse de la galerie SEE fut l'organisation de novembre 2021 à juin 2022 d’une trilogie d'expositions intitulée NATIVE, un cycle d’expositions en trois volets interrogeant la relation originelle et essentielle entre l’espace qui nous entoure, le monde minéral et le monde végétal.
La galerie SEE a ouvert ses portes dans le Marais à Paris en novembre 2021. Ses nouveaux espaces situés au 84 rue du Temple dans un immeuble construit au 16e siècle, ont été totalement repensés dans une verticalité de grands volumes lumineux, favorisant à la fois circulation et intimité dans les zones d’exposition.

SEE is a contemporary art gallery showcasing the work of emerging and established artists, both French and international. Through a variety of media – drawing, painting, sculpture, installation, photography and video – these artists explore materials and elements, restoring a central role to the artistic gesture and physical substance in their creations. Their works invite us to perceive the world differently, to reveal, through the prism of art, the hidden meaning of things. The curatorial approach reflects the multidisciplinary nature and variety of the themes addressed, resonating with society and contemporary issues.
Run by a team with diverse sensibilities, the gallery combines perspectives and passions to design exhibitions, often centred on a narrative thread and conceived at the intersection of traditional gallery and museum formats. The themes explored facilitate dialogue between established and emerging artists, offering a unique exhibition experience to every visitor. Meetings, debates, performances, and the publication of periodicals and art books enable the gallery to expand its activities and make contemporary art more widely accessible.
The genesis of the SEE gallery was the organisation, from November 2021 to June 2022, of a trilogy of exhibitions entitled NATIVE, a three-part exhibition cycle exploring the original and essential relationship between the space around us, the mineral world and the plant world.
The SEE Gallery opened its doors in the Marais district of Paris in November 2021. Its new premises, located at 84 Rue du Temple in a 16th-century building, have been completely redesigned to create a sense of verticality with large, light-filled spaces, promoting both ease of movement and intimacy within the exhibition areas.
